Production Intention

Synopsis

The plot for our trailer consists of a vengeful girl called Rose who takes revenge on a group of girls who bullied her younger brother, causing him to commit suicide. The group of girls mainly bullied her brother as he was a “geek” who played chess, so now Rose swears to end their lives. She does this by using the game chess in relation to her brother as a basis to cleverly kill the girls, like the game goes. Whenever Rose kills she says the words “checkmate”, in relation to winning the game, and her winning by killing them. Eventually after she’s killed all of them, the police lock her away in a mental institution.

Target Audience

Teenagers aged from 15-17 and who are most likely to be females however our secondary audiences are Males with a similar age range. Hence, they are more likely to belong in the E socio-economic demographics; because most of them are students. We’ve decided we are targeting ‘Explorer’ from the Young & Rubicam theory. In additon our target audience belong in 'Asian' ethcinity, because most of our characters in the flim belong in the similar ethcinity.
